I’m Canadian. We celebrate Thanksgiving
the second Monday in October. We observe it with turkey, stuffing, sausage
meat, cranberry sauce, brussels sprouts,, potatoes and gravy, and mincemeat pie.
We don't watch football, which appears to be an American tradition.
I’m curious, what about how the
Americans celebrate? What are your traditions - beside football? Do the British celebrate Thanksgiving? If so how? Do any other cultures celebrate
turkey day, and if you do, how do you fit it in with your culture?
I'd love to hear from you.
We celebrate it the last Thursday in November, not a specific date. We cook as well, turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and other treats. We spend the day with our family and talk about what we are thankful for as the year winds up.
