I'm traveling across southern BC right now, in our little motorhome, staying at campgrounds. We're just a few miles north of the US/Canadian border. The country is very rural, lots of farms and ranches and small towns. Few, if any, big box stores. Our first night we stayed at Christina Lake (above).
Last night we stayed at Fort Steele, just north of Cranbrook, a town of about 19,000.
Today we drive across the border into Alberta - cheap gas - yeah! And pass through a cool spot called Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump (above)and through the Frank slide where half the mountain came down in 1903.
I'll be back with 5 Secrets Thursday.
