My week has been up and down.
We took our dogs to the vet for their yearly check-up. Sachi is 11 years old and Yoshi is 12 1/2 years old. The vet told me that Yoshi has a heart murmur, not that unusual for a dog her age. She's now on several medications to keep the murmur from getting worse. It can't be cured. She asked how long Shiba's usually live and I aid about 14 - 15 years. Back home I researched that and it can be 12 - 15 years. She's healthy and perky and races up and down stairs, but her life expectancy could be another 2 1/2 years. I know it can be longer but it does give one a reality check. And now we have a struggle twice a day to get her pills down.
On the upside I finally got Don't Go to the formatter. It's the first time I've done this. I've had a 3rd person aggregate do it before. So that's a positive.
I finished my Halloween anthology and sent it off.
I'm now back to working on Targeted, the third in my Hawkins' Family series.
We're planning and booking our snowbird trip south, so that's another positive and our dogs go with us.
So over all, a pretty good week.
How was your week?
Bev, glad there's medication to help Yoshi.
